back from the fair

I'm back from the fair... while i get settled in again, I'll point you to a simple papertoy i saw at the fair of a hydrogen fuel cell bus. Expect some updates on the eTUI during this week.

Quick Update

Just a quick update to let you know I'll be away to an industrial fair for next week, that's why no updates were posted here nor will there next week. Expect to get news & pics on the eTUI once I'm back home.

Paper Masks with reflexive Tape

Today i saw this cool gallery of huge paper masks, which were used for a video of Nação Zumbi (Dinamo Filmes), that use reflexive tape to accomplish an even cooler look. Using papercraft to create masks is another great thing you can do, some time ago i saw a Guy Fawkes Paper Craft Mask created with Pepakura. But I'm sure there are even better masks out there. Should be great to create some in old venetian mask style.

As you might have noticed, i took some time to add further websites to the link list on the right. Still not complete, but getting there.

e440 in DHM style

Finally i found the time to put together all the parts for the e440 in DHM style i started a few days ago. I *really* like this model... Ringo created a great template. Once the weathers turns better again (it's drizzling a lot those days) I'll take a picture for the e440 travel blog. The idea of sending in pictures of papertoys you craft reminds me a bit of Postcardware. I think I'll try to come up with an idea about a design where you have to build model 1 and send in a picture for the blog to obtain model 2 by eMail.. or something along the lines. Could be a nice idea to involve people.

I had some minor trouble with the blog layout, some graphics were hiding text behind them. If you did not realize it, probably you used Firefox like me - as i did not see it first. Hopefully all fixed now. I'm very satisfied with my "creative phases" recently, even bought a jotter to remember them. Only need time to finish at least some of them. ;)
